3 YEARS OF FEAR EXPOSURE
It is far more than just the children that have been exposed to fear-mongering at every turn. It is the still developing psyche of the children, for whom it is taking its greatest whole.
While many of you know me to be a Naturopath, I have diplomas and 16 different modalities, including alternative medicine and allopathic medicine. Those include psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, and advanced cognitive behavioral therapy.
And another thing you may or may not know is that I have previously been a consultant to the World Health Organization on epigenetics in fear-filled societies. This is about the Congo and the constant fear of the women and children being kidnapped and turned into child soldiers or prostituted.
Let us begin with an understanding of the trauma response within the human brain. The more we are exposed to fear and anxiety-producing information, whether it is fact or fiction, the human brain begins to associate related words and even thoughts as a trigger for that fear/anxiety. This is what is known as automatic negative thoughts.
To present you an example, if you were involved in a traumatic event that took place in a certain town, on a certain Street, and at a very specific location on that street, every time you pass by or even see the location of the photo, it can trigger an automatic negative thought that will provoke fear and anxiety. This is extremely common.
The problem, however, is with three years of constant fear mongering being instilled into the children, coming from every possible direction. If they turn on the TV, their teachers at school, their peers, and even their own family, this constant and perpetual fear alters gene expression and provokes data mutations in specific genes, such as the GAD1 gene, and countless others.
Once that occurs, and the expression of the gene(s) is altered, the child may carry this with them for the remainder of their life and pass it on to their offspring.
Yes, our thoughts can mutate our gene expressions. Our environmental factors, such as being inundated with fear at every turn, will alter how our genes express themselves, what proteins they produce, how they process fear, and how they regulate fear processing centers in our brains, such as the amygdala.
But what I really want you all to know, because I am not one to tell you a problem without giving you a solution, is that the same thing that causes the problemed, gene expression, can be used to correct it.
Yes, some call it Neuroplasticity, some call it psychotherapy, and some call it behavioral therapy, but the reality is, is that in the case of behavior-regulating genes, we have the ability, through rationalization of thought to reverse it.
In your children, they need reassurance and rationalization. They need to understand that with all of this fear that everybody's been telling them to feel, that mom and dad are still here, that most of their friends got it in school, and they are still here, that they most likely never had to spend the day in the hospital, that grandma and grandpa are still here.
They need somebody to explain to them that they are just about as likely to get hit by lightning as they are of dying from Covid and that all of this fear, if they look at all of the people they know who lived contracted it, that it is very likely that none of their friends, family, or anybody they even know, died from it. And that is what they need to remember, that people want them to be afraid, but there is really very little reason for them to be.
That nobody else could tell them to be afraid of something that they do not need to be afraid of. Just because little Jenny is afraid of spiders, does that mean that you have to be as well? How many spiders killed little Jenny? How many times was little Jenny even bitten by a spider? How many times did she have to go to the hospital because of a spider bite?
Yes, their minds are still developing, and they may indeed be prone to simply accepting the unfounded fear that so many are trying to instill in them, but those still developing minds, if we take care of this right now, while they are still developing, we can prevent them from suffering a lifetime of mental health issues, and them from passing that on to their children, their grandchildren, etc.
But we need to act right now! I hope you all choose to do so!
